Sleeping at night is the most relaxing time of the day, a time when many cells in the body start to rest. Shapewear is inherently tight and is positioned exactly over the chest, lungs, and abdomen. Due to the compression, it can lead to difficulty breathing, thereby increasing the workload on the lungs. At the same time, it compresses the kidneys; prolonged compression can seriously affect kidney function.
