1. You cannot wear it immediately after giving birth
You cannot wear shapewear immediately after a C-section. You must wait at least half a month. If your uterus stops bleeding within half a month, you can wear it, because the recovery period for the uterus is usually one month, but stopping bleeding means it has almost recovered. 2. Must wait until the wound heals before wearing
It is suitable to wear shapewear after a C-section wound has healed. For natural delivery, wearing shapewear is better. For C-section, ensure there is no lochia (postpartum discharge) at all. During delivery, first use an abdominal binder to lift and return the internal organs that dropped during pregnancy. Do not put on shapewear immediately after delivery. This will easily cause more pressure and discomfort to the internal organs that have not yet returned to their proper position.

3. Pay attention to choosing shapewear made of excellent materials
After delivery, new mothers experience pelvic expansion, and severe fat accumulation in the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and other areas! The skin becomes loose and sagging, and the body shape becomes distorted. What is most needed postpartum is to first repair the birth injuries caused by delivery, such as pelvic floor muscle laxity, diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles), etc. Pelvic floor muscles can be improved through Kegel exercises.
